Diana and Val end up on the agent training world, and as expected there's more than a little trouble.

The first two books in this series were Superb, the third was just ok. This was the hardest to read in the series so far. Val was not involved in the story much, only appearing at the beginning and end of the novel. I missed the interactions between Diana and Val, and seeing Diana been by brought so low at the Academy was frustrating. I had hoped to continue the series, but the price is rather high for something I'm not sure I'll like. I'll wait for a sale or more reviews on the other books in the series before making another purchase.Product details

Diana Santee book 3 Tanderon eBook Sharon Green Reviews
I found it refreshing not too have Val in this story. Especially since he seemed to be forcing himself into Diana's life choices rather than learning and observing a relatively new culture.
Some description of the Absari man should have been included by Sharon Green. But then each of her books continue this tradition of a somwtimes unreasonable mate for the strong alpha female characters. The author tends to write fairly one sided prosewhuch is about the main female chatacter, wirhout decribing the even stronger male partners. This in return sets up the reader against the man as the reader cannot relate to the impenetrable motivatuons of the male character. Perhaps this is a weakness of a new writer? However, despite these lackings, I absolutely adore the strong female characters in SG's books!
Okay, first off, this book is not for everyone. The heroine is incredibly strong and talented in martial arts as well as mind control. Yet she allows the man in her life to spank her when he doesn't like her unwomanly independence. Thats what I loved about it and what some will hate. This story is fun and twisted all at the same time. If you enjoy a little S &M in your fantasy novels, this books for you. I loved every moment.
Not really, but not the kind of sex readers have come to enjoy. Tanderon is one of my new favorite books by S.G., because 99% of it was plot. I found this to be incredibly refreshing after the previous book of porn and perversion. It's nice to get a break every once in a while, and at a point I actually cried. Well done Ms. Green, thank you for reminding us of your ability to turn a phrase and write an engaging plot in addition to turning us on. 😊
Green was a very prolitic writer of formula romances begining in the eighties. Always the same formula. Strong woman with serious skills, but emotionally vulnerable. Very macho male forcing love on her. Add in sex and SM gives you a formula that was very shocking at the time. This was part of a series begun some twenty years ago. It was interesting because of the futuristic world where agents performed legal assassinations on criminals who could not otherwise be captured. After writing two books in the series Green dropped for years. It is interesting for those like myself who read the first two and wondered where she was going to take it. Always readable you need to read the first two to understand the story.
